Where do I begin? Do you think it is better to check out the magazines and designer websites first or to go into the store, describe be your style, have them look at your body type & see what they suggest. I just want to start off on the right foot!!!
I looked at magazines and i didnt like anything. I was so scared that I was going to have a hard time finding a dress. Then I went to some shops and i found so many that I loved. So I would say whatever you want do! I suggest Helens in Commack bc they were SUPER helpful and didnt rush you at all. And they will tell you what will look good on your and what wont.
I'd look through some magazines, see if you like any, cut them out or print them so you ave an idea and bring them to a store as a basis. That's what I'm going to do. :)
You should look at some magazines and some websites and get an idea of what you like...but when you go shopping, go with an open mind...cause you never know!
I looked in magazines and online. Bring pictures with you when you go dress shopping. Start off in a salon trying on all different styles to get a feeling of what looked best on you. This will help you narrow down choices.
Look through the magazines but I got a better idea seeing it in person. Also, make sure you listen to their advice. In my experience they all knew what best fit my body. It is so much fun! Enjoy!
