My wedding is May 30th, and I thought I might like burgundy BM dresses and I love this dress here. My mom's a seamstress, so she can make the accents any color I want. However, now I'm thinking that burgundy will be too dark, espeically since I think I might change the BM dress color to mauve/dusky pink. So what do you think I should do about my dress? Please help, as my mom needs to start making it soon.
I'm partial to burgundy because that's what I'm using and I love the way it looks with a white or ivory wedding gown.

I think you need to make a final decision on the base color before you decide on the accents.

That dress is beautiful... I am thinking that if you did a white gown, the silver would look good, and it would match with burgundy for your girls.. I think anything you go with will look beautiful.. The gown is just gorgeous..

I like mauve with ivory, I think that color combination matches the era of the dress, which is patterned after the Audrey Hepburn movie, Sabrina. Those are very post-war aristocrat colors....JMHO.
I like the silver, but I think it might overpower the base of the dress, and also would you wear ivory or silver shoes & accessories????
ETA: Even though the original dress was B&W, I think a color also would enhance the look of your wedding.
