Dress Regret?

I have an appt. on Saturday to try on MY dress for the first time since I purchased it in July. I'm freaking out that I might not feel beautiful in it or that I made the wrong choice or that it isn't special enough. Ahhh, what do I do if it ends up not making me feel the way it did in July???? Has this happened to anyone?

Me! I tried on my dress and fell in love, went back to show it to my mother and purchased it. My mom did not like the dress and I then had dress regret BAD. I went back to look for another dress and put it on again and loved it! As soon as I put it on I remembered all the reasons I liked it and was positive I made the right choice. I hope the same happens for you!!! If not, you still have time to find something else at least. Better to know now then right before the wedding. Good luck!

I had that feeling too and I'm sure there are so many ladies that think the same thing. As soon as I put it on I felt amazing and my girls faces confirmed it..

I always think what if but there are soooooooo many dresses out there that you have to cut it somewhere

i had dress regret when i tried it on in a wayyy too small size vs. a semi- too small size.
i bought it :)

I had/am having some dress regret myself. I feel like maybe I decided too quickly etc and am quickly forgetting how I felt in the dress. Once it actually comes in, I'm sure I will fall in love again....hopefully!

I get dress regret at LEAST once a month but then I try on my dress again and I realize why I bought it....You will remember too! and I am sure you will be fine!

haha IDK if its normal but I am trying on the sample. I got my dress at Kliendelds and I made an accessory appointment basically just to try the dress on again! i bought a bling belt though. I dont want to go to the city every time I have dress regret so Ill find a place that has the dress and try it on....okay kind of abnormal LOL

I was actually thinking of doing the same thing... Making an appointment each month to go see the sample dress until mine came in. I thought i was the only one. I have to make an appt to see about accessories so I hope I still feel the same way as I did when i purchased it. I find myself looking at pictures of me in the dress from time to time. Ijust hope and pray I made the right decision.

ugh so happy to hear this!! i literally bought my dress two days ago and it's very couture and not too sexy and now I'm regretting if I should have just went for a sexy tight fitting dress because I think my FH would like it and I'm more nervous he won't like it :(

I love my dress, but I have dress regret all the time. I keep looking at the pics and thinking about how I am going to remake and rearrange all the embellishments. LOL I feel sorry for my bridal shop when it comes in!

This was and still is my fear. I took his mom and sisters to see my dress when we went for the BM dresses. They were all in shock as they didn't think I would pick a dress like mine. I asked my FMIL if she thought her son would like it and she gave me an answer like, 'so long you like it that's all that matter.' That's true what kind of answer is that?!?!?!

P.s. I fell more in love with my dress when I tried it on again. Totally forgot how it made me feel. Take lots of pictures even if you aren't allowed to, sneak some with ur camera.

Dress Regret?

I never had regret but I had some anxiety. Wasn't allowed to take photos while trying on the dress (purchased else where n they didn't carry it).
When I got the call it came in I had mixed feelings, but once I put in on I was in love. I can't stop looking at the pictures.

I don't know you FH, but he will love whatever dress your wearing. Any guy just wants their significant other to be happy.
A compromise would be to go extra sexy after the wedding, that's what the guys really look forward to

If you just got it, aren't you able to get a refund?
