Dress Regret
So ever since I bought my dress (in August '14!) I had been having dress regret and felt like it wasn't the right dress for me. I kept telling myself wait until you lose weight.. and wait until you see it again you'll still love it. Well I lost 21 lbs, tried it on for the first time two weeks ago and new for sure I hated it. So today I went to David's Bridal in Massapequa (Joan was amazing ask for her) and found the dress I originally wanted back in August but was a little too heavy for. I bought it and am in love with it! The only thing is I don't think it matches well with my bridesmaid dresses... any suggestions on how to tie in the two dresses? I was thinking of making lace sashes for the bridesmaids in ivory.First image is the new gown with my bridesmaid dresses
Second image left is old gown, to the right is new gown
I am just concerned now because the bridesmaid dresses are very flowy whereas my new gown is very stiff... Any suggestions?

I honestly dont think it clashes. My dress is also lace and my BM dresses are Chiffon. I didnt even think of my bridemaids dresses when i brought my dress. I think it will be fine, giving them lace as well might be to much.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I had told my mom I thought the dresses didn't go well together and she almost had a heart attack thinking I wanted a new gown. But I love my new dress. Now I am debating if I Should have another hair and makeup trial since I will probably have to wear my hair up now. Also I haven't told any of my bridal party yet. Not sure if I should.

I don't think the dresses clash at all, both are beautiful and I think will look fine together.

I don't think they clash at all. Personally, I like the new gown much better anyway. Congratulations!!! You will look beautiful and your bridal party will too. Everyone will compliment each other in the way you want. I am so happy you didn't settle and were able to go back to get your dream dress.

I am very happy you decided to change it. I knew someone who settled just because they didn't want to go through the process of returning it. Every bride deserves to be the happiest and feel beautiful on that day!

I think once you have all the girls together in the same dress it will look uniform and come together on its own- no need to do anything. :)

Re: Dress Regret
I agree with everyone -- it doesn't clash and it looks great on you btw :) also, it might feel stiff and structured, but it looks romantic and flowy, especially next to your bridesmaid.Welcome New Vendors
