It's early but I am dying to start dress shopping!! I want to make an appointment on Sunday. I am on a buget for my dress so my question is.. Does anyone have any recommendations for a place to go? I want somewhere people friendly and where I am not going to pay a fortune for a dress. Also that will have BM's dresses for them to try on also.

Rk bridal in the city has great prices. I bought my bm dresses there but also saw that they had a large selection of wedding dresses and from what girls say on here, they seem reasonable.

RK Bridal has TONS to choose from.
I bought my dress at the Wedding Plaza in Floral Park and they have a bunch too. I had good experiences at David's, Lillette's and Helen's Bridal and they had dresses in all price ranges.

all those places do offer a good variety...and also i know a lot of girls on here are big fans of going dress shopping super early but personally it actually made it harder for me. i knew i had time so i tried on so many dresses at so many places and really confused myself. jmo good luck!
Definitely try RK. They have TONS of gorgeous dresses at VERY reasonable prices. You won't get 'wined and dined,' but the salesgirls are very helpful and sweet.

I got mine at paradise bridal, they had a good selection, and donna was awesome! I say go looking, even if you do not buy it, this is the only time you get to try on wedding dresses, so enjoy it!

I agree...I found my dress at another bridal salon for cheaper...but would have never bought it at another salon just based on the customer service I received from Centereach. They matched the price!!! Alice, Robin, and John are the BEST!!!!!!!!
You have to see Jeanine at Macy's in smithaven. She is very nice, listens to your requests and genuinely loves helping people find their wedding dresses. She is usually there Fri, Sat, Sun, make an appointment specifically with her because she is just wonderful!
