Dress shopping

Quick question for you girls that have gone dress shopping..this is my first weekend that I am going to go shopping for a gown...do you wear a normal bra or a strapless bra?? I'm going with my mom and MOH but don't want the goods hanging out.

i wore a regular and brought a strapless... some dresses you need them, some they dont. Also, some places i went to had one for me but i wanted my own.

i wore my regular bra, and put down my straps when i put the dresses on.

at one place i had on a corset bra, and that was great

Congratulations!!!

When I went trying on, I brought heels, a strapless bra, and I was wearing 'Power Panties' Spanx, which essentially are like bicycle shorts. Get ready to do a lot of stretching and bending!
I'm a bit bashful and I would have been self conscious w/ my bare butt in the ladys face. Spanx are great too, especially if you're thinking of a more fitted dress, they will change how the dress will look on you (for the better!)

Also-go wearing a bit of makeup, so you get a better idea. I'm a big picture person, I needed to get an entire vision.

I went a few times, and when i wore a strapless bra it was much easier, not having to move the straps away -- that was annoying to me!

I wore a regulare bra and brought a strapless bra. I didnt want to deal with hiding my straps in the sides everytime I put a dress on. Have fun I cant wait to here all about it

i had on a regular and took the straps down but it wouldnt hurt to bring one..i think they even offered me one

I didnt wear a bra when i tried on the dresses. Im not wearing one the day of the wedding.

I always wore my own strapless. It doesn't fit perfectly, but it did the trick!

You'll def want to wear a strapless. If you don't own one, I'd go buy a cheap one. Mine only cost $15. Otherwise, most places will offer to let you borrow one. Personally, I'd rather just wear my own bra, though.
