Dress shopping...

Dress shopping...

So I got a call that a dress I really wanted to try on is in! Only problem is my mom, who has been with me to every store I've been to (all 5 or 6 of them) can't come with me until October. Probably veteran's day. It's because i have limited weekends off and she only has weekends off now (she's a teacher). Would it be terribly awful of me to go with a BM and her not be there???? Am I a horrible child?

You might have no choice! Did this store 'borrow' a sample from another store?

If so, they might only hold it for a limited time which would mean you need to get over there ASAP. Also, your wedding is May, September/October is the perfect time to order your dress. If it turns out this one isn't the one, at least you'll still have time to continue dress shopping and not feel rushed or panicked! HTH!

ITA...go try it on with a BM, and then if you even think you like/love it go back with your mom. It would be silly to wait a month though and then end up not liking it and all and not having much time left for shopping

They actually ordered a sample. They had already ordered it when I went there last month, I asked if they had that dress and they said they had already ordered it. I was hoping to order my dress next month! I don't know why I can't seem to find one. I've tried on about 30 so far.

Oh then definitely go asap to try it on, if you really love it, bring your mom back with you! Don't get disheartened!! I tried on probably about 70-100 dresses! I actually even went dress shopping alone a few times, it was lovely! You'll find the right one for you!!

By the way, you've tried on some gorgeous ones!! Then again, with your figure anything you try on is gonna be gorgeous!
