I have a MAJOR itch to go dress shopping.. i look at all these dresses online and im like i want to try this one and that one ....
im trying soo hard to hold out a few more months (til like 2011) because I know myself and i'll make a spur of the moment decision, order a dress and then question if i made a good decision.

Re: Dress shopping
I've gone once. I know pretty much what I'm looking for. My big problem is I want to wait until about a year before the wedding to buy my dress so I don't have to store it for a year and I'll have more time to save money for it. On the other hand, I'm really worried that all the styles I love (which seem to be in the designer's older seasons) will be discontinued and replaced with newer styles that I'm not really into. Guess I'll just have to wait and see how it turns out!

Re: Dress shopping
i went one day to one place and had a lot of fun. They thought I was crazy when I said a 2012 wedding. but...... both my sister & sister in law bought their dresses more than a year before the wedding!!
If you fall in love then buy it

Re: Dress shopping
haha I already bought mine, BUT thats because I was not sure when I would be able to look at dresses again. I did try on a bunch, I like mine a lot, I think i'll like it better when its in my size and I drop some pounds, but my mom freaked out because 'i'm supposed to cry', and I didn't, lol

Awww haha, my mom was so excited she said she's taking care of mine too!
Thats so funny, I cry over EVERYTHING, but a wedding dress is just not one. FH hid a photographer on the beach when he proposed and all the photos of me are red and my face is puffy because I was like sobbing... lol

Re: Dress shopping
I say go for it. The worst thing is that on your first try out you don't get anything and the best thing is that you could potentially find the dress of your dreams and you are more aware of what styles/colors/fabric etc you really want. I went to PB just on a whim & it was the first dress I tried on and I just knew and now its a MAJOR check out of the way and I can relax about it! Good luck when you do decide to go!

Re: Dress shopping
u should go whenever u want! i want to wait until closer to the wedding just b/c 1. i have nowhere to store it and 2. i dont want to be freaking out about the fit so i think the closer to the wedding i get it the better!
i have totally been having the urge to look tho! LOL
