dress shopping

i want to make appointments to go dress shopping but i can't decided what store to make an appointment at.

how did you girls choose your 1st store that you went to?

i'm afraid i'll find my dress at the 1st store just b/c it'll be the 1st bridal dress i have tried on and will love it just cuz its a wedding dress lol.

i know a few designers i iike and know that stores where they are sold but i don't know which one to pick help please!

I am going to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and Village Bridal. Both of them have been recommended both on these boards and off.

The places you go really depend on your budget for a dress. Some places have dresses starting at a higher price range

Hey! We are getting married the same day Where are you having your reception?

I won a dress from the wedding center at a bridal show, so I went there but wasn't happy. Since I was so excited to be trying on dresses my Mom and I went into Davids Bridal just for fun and I tried on a bunch of dresses. A couple of months ago I fell in love with a dress in a magazine so I called around to see who had it. Only one place did, so I that's where I went! (I hated the dress once it was on....but I did find 'the one' while I was there-it was def. worth the trip!!)

This happened to me on Saturday at RK. I went there to try on a dress I LOVED online but once it was on it looked great but just not the one. I did find something else that I loved though.

It's so funny how you think you found it, and it's just not what you thought!

I loved every second of trying on dresses, when we left the store after I found the one, I told my mom that I was so sad because this meant trying on dresses was over LOL
