Re: Dress Shopping!!!

I'm going to Fantasia, although I'm not set on buying a dress there, since I saw some horror stories about them, but I'm gonna make my own decision when I get there

Not sure if you saw my other post on BHB, but I originally made an appt there bc it was close to my FMIL's house, but that went down the sh*tter....

Re: Dress Shopping!!!

I will!

And I need your opinions...

I decided, since it's hard to get my sister's all together and some of them will be coming with me, that I'm gonna do bridesmaids dresses that day too

I like the idea of T-length dresses for May, but they think it's not formal enough for the venue or for bridesmaids dresses. I don't plan on making them wear the same dress because their body types are so different and I want them to be comfortable- what length do you guys think would be good?

Re: Dress Shopping!!!

Tea lenght is fine- esp for a may wedding. I am planning to have them wear different dresses too. I'm choosing floor length for them though. I want the dresses to be same designer, color, fabric and bottom style the same. Just the top part will be different. My concern for diff dresses is if the lengths vary on the girls I fear it will look sloppy. But with tea length its easy to determine that mid point between knee and ankle for each girl. I found one dress I love that is higher in front and back drops to a floor length
But for may, even a short dress is fine! The extent of the formality is up to you. I think I want chiffon dresses that are more casual so the girls can wear them again. Stick with what you want to do

This... I totally want chiffon and floor lenght

Re: Dress Shopping!!!

It's your vision and your wedding! I don't think shorter dresses are necessarily less formal especially in May! If you don't want floor length gowns, then don't have them!
