Dress shopping.

Ever since seeing I found the gown before I was engaged my mother decided we were going to go to Vows to looks for my dress. She said if she can buy me a dress she wouldn't normally be able to afford than she wants to do it. So I made an appointment for August 10th and we booked a hotel for the weekend in Boston. I can't wait!

Yayyyy!! I'm SO jealous!! Although I found my dress already, I think my mom was secretly hoping I wouldn't find it so we could go try dresses on at Vows!! LOL

Lol that's why I haven't tried any on. I don't wanna find one I love.

OMG i was supposed to be on I Found the Gown! They cast me and everything and I made a date for filming, but my mom didn't want to go last minute because she heard that they are all sample gowns, and she didn't like the idea of buying a gown that was tried on by thousands of other brides. She also didn't like that you have to take the dress home with you that day, and we had over a year so she didn't want it to be sitting in a closet for a year & would rather have it preserved correctly in a regular bridal salon.

Although I totally get her points, the prices are just amazing, and I would have loved to get a Vera Wang gown for $1500. I ended up getting a gown at Pronovias that i LOVE, but it really sucks seeing the brides on the show getting Pronovias gowns for 70% of what I paid!

My mom and sisters are coming here end of July, we will go dress shopping then.. That is probably the thing that is stressing me out the most coz of my body.. But shopping with family makes everything so much better!
