I got my appointment at Kleinfelds for 3:45 on a weekend finally! I didn't realize it was difficult to get one there and they'd book up so quickly. I had just checked last week and there were tons of availability! I had called yesterday with no luck and every date I wanted booked!! I couldn't believe it... but I called today again to ask if there was a waiting list and Luckily I think there was a cancellation!
But anyway, I would like to go to Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier while I'm out in the city too. How far apart should I space the appointment? What time would any of you ladies recommend going there?
My appointment for Kleinfelds is for a Sunday.
Any other stores I should try and schedule with while I'm out there? or is 2 just enough and I wont have time for any other stores since it is a sunday?

Re: Dress shopping in NYC timing??
Where is the 2nd salon you want to go to? You should check out the Priscilla of Boston salon. The line is shutting down so they are selling all samples and stock for 50% or more off...no appointment necessary.

Re: Dress shopping in NYC timing??
They're about 20 minutes apart by subway. I don't know about driving and parking though. I am unsure if either of the stores runs late or are they on time. I'd hate to make an appt. only to be late to the other because the first store was running late.
I actually did check out the Priscilla of Boston in Manhasset but didn't find anything for me there unfortunately. I wish they had a dress for me! The prices are great! Thanks for the suggestion though!

Re: Dress shopping in NYC timing??
I highly recommend going to Pronovias Flagship store in NYC. It's on 52nd by Madison. Amazing place, great service and the dresses are out of this world and surprisingly cheaper than you would expect by looking at the place and dresses. It's where I finally found my dress after going to about 20 different places.
