Dress shopping is starting to piss me off!!!!

Hi Gals,

Well I finally got to go dress shopping with my mom AND MOH. I was so excited because i called ahead to make sure that they had the dresses I was looking to try on- as i'm still trying to narrow down. I got a phone call from the store telling me that most of those dresses they carried. I got there and they only had 1 dress!!
I was a little pissed bacuse my MOH came a far distance to go with us and I felt like it was a waste of a trip for here to see me in just one dress. The attendant was pissing me off to no end blabbing about how great it looked on me and that i need to forget those other dresses. She got really annoying and I must say so did a few of the other attendants in other stores.
They clearly just run on commition and tell you everything looks great on you just to make a sale. I felt so pressured by one who told me it takes 10 months for the dress to come in and that if i don't order it at that moment- I wouldn't have it on time.
I'm really getting stressed and worried that i'm not going to find a dress.

Dont get to stressed out! Just take your time and looking around maybe with your mom and when oyu think you found something maybe call your MOH to come the next time since she is making a long trip out.. other than that you really have to shop around.. these people are often looking to just sell and you want to make sure you buy what you really love.. but there a millions of stores.. just take it a day at a time.. come here and vent and start again the next day.. it will all work out..

Just an FYI*
I went to 3 stores... and then went shopping with my BF for her wedding at THE WEDDING CENTER in COMMACK.... and found my dress.. I mean the woman there were the best.. I tried on maybe 20 dresses with no complaints.. and then I found IT! Something the girl in the next room came out... but my expeirence there was a good one.. so just thought I would let you know!

If you are near suffolk, try to go to Village Bridal in Babylon. They were not pushy at all. They are very friendly and helpful. I ordered my dress from them and my BM dresses.

Don't get discouraged! Don't buy something till you are comfortable with the dress and place. You have time!
