So, yesterday was my 11 month mark until my wedding and I've been dress shopping a few times over the past few weeks. Yesterday, I started to panic because I am wondering if I should wait to drop more weight before I buy a dress. I'm hoping to drop 20 lbs for the wedding. There are 2 dresses that I am really loving but wondering if the dress look different if I have to buy the larger size. Do I buy now or should I wait until I drop a little more weight?

Ask the store how long it typically takes to order the dress...maybe they can give you more help since they deal with this stuff all the time!

Ask how long it takes to get in the dress. You do not want to have to pay crazy rush fees. Dresses can be taken in. If you loose the weight the seamstress will be able to take it in

at 11 months, you definitely have time (esp b/c you already have a couple contenders, you know what you like - just not sure if you should place the order). depending on how your body loses weight, it definitely can affect how the dress looks on you and the style that might be most flattering.
are these 2011 or 2012 dresses? if the dress is made by a popular designer and it's from a current season, you should feel pretty confident that a number of stores will be able to order it for you - even if you wait a couple of months. would love to see the dresses!! :)
