Dress Shopping problems.... ideas??

Ok, so here's the story:
I made an appt for this Sunday to go dress shopping with my mom, stepmom and my sisters. This way they can try on the Bridesmaid dress I like, and they will all be with me when I try on dresses for the first time. Thought this would be a lovely day, and then all go out for lunch after...

Well... Mom tells me last night that she thought it was only her and I going together, and she's upset that I would want to include everyone else.

Heres my idea: I go dress shopping with Mom before Sunday, so she gets her one on one time with me... I made a temp. appt at Macys...but then I don't say anything to my stepmom and sisters... is this wrong??? I don't want my mom to be so upset.. I know it is really important to her...

I think its fine to go shopping with your Mom prior to the big outing. Even if you only try on one or two dresses with just your Mom, she will be happy, and trying on pretty dresses and feeling like a princess an extra day can't hurt.

i think you should go before sunday with your mom. it is obviously very important to her that the both of you have this experience alone. i'm sure your sisters & step-mother would understand.

Well coming from the MOH point of view & knowing MOM so well!! Take her prior to Sunday...You know she really wants it to be special with her & you...For so long it was just the two of you!!! Even though Nancy is mom too, you know that MOM wants to REALLY be apart of everything with ONLY you!!!

Don't say anything to Kate, magoo or Nancy & then go with everyone on Sunday...I think it will be very special for mom
