I am finally going dress shopping in the next week or so. What places did you girls go to and where should I go? I want to go to places where the people aren't snotty. Thanks.

i went to a whole damn bunch, but some of the best that stood out were
kleinfelds bridal reflections nyc location wedding salon of mahasset (where i got my gown) demetrios in macy nyc
and rk bridal, i didnt go there, but a lot of girls find great deals here)
Get an idea of which designers you like.. I think it's easier to know what you want before you go to the store..

Village Bridal and Boutique in Babylon - They ARE the best!!
I heard *although didnt try* that they match prices!

my first trip, i went to a place in NJ - but then i went to RK bridal because my dress that i liked from the place in NJ was about 300 dollars cheaper there! They have a lot of dresses - if you go during off-peak hours you can search & tryon dresses as much as you want!

i only went to three, rk bridal which i wouldnt reccomend for service wise.
Lillettes was awesome! Geri is the greatest,...Laura you hae Geri right?
I got mine from Village Bridal and they have always been wonderful. all the girls are super down to earth .

I went to Macys Herald Sq. altho most of the consultant seemed snotty my consultant was awesome, warm very very nice and caring person - Angela. she made the experience fun for me

I went to a lot of them...my favs: -Paradise Bridal (where both me and mom have gotten our dresses) -Priscilla of Boston -Babylon Village Bridal -Elena's in Merrick...

It's right around the corner from RK Bridal. It's small but they had a lot of dresses that I liked b/c they carried quite a few Pronovias dresses. You get a very intimate one on one experience. IMO it was a bit pricey however.
