I have never gone dress shopping, don''t know anything about the whole process so maybe you guys can help (who am I kidding? of course you can! ) I''m 5''3 or 5''4 with heels and weigh about 105 lbs. I''m not the average size I guess. Am I going to have a problem finding dresses? I had loved the mermaid style but if I''m going to need to have major alterations I think it would ruin the style. But, I also seem to like the look of 'ruched' dresses, I think you call them 'pick-up' too? I don''t know what to expect. I have a hard time shopping for normal clothes and can only imagine what this dress shopping will have in store for me... Any advice?? TIA

Try on everything!!! I went in thinking I wanted one style and came out with the complete opposite...if it catches your eye, or even looks awful on a hanger try it. You never know! And definitely have fun!

dont even worry, theres alot of petite girls and they all find dresses so dont stress...as far as style just wait until you go and try them on and personally see what fits you best...i always have trouble finding dresses and have problems with clothes, im big on top but small waist so shirts that fit well on top are too big on my stomach and shirts that fit well on my stomach are too tight on top so hard to find clothes that fit properly, plus then my hips are wide...but i found dresses that fit perfect, plus you get it altered to fit your body
