Dress Shopping Today

So today was my first day of going dress shopping. The only place I went to was Lillettes in Baldwin. It was such a horrible experience. The lady didn't take out dresses that I liked. I told her what I like and what I don't. I even showed her a dress that I wanted to try on and she brought out all opposite dresses. I think it was because she didn't have the dress in the store. Just tell me you don't have the dress instead of saying I don't think it would look good on you. When I showed her the dress she looked like she couldn't believe I chose this dress. She was really rude also. My mom and MOH came with me and when we would ask her a question she would get annoyed and then say comments to me in the dessing room. I was really annoyed with her and I am not going back to them. She was also making fun of other stores which I think is very unprofessional. If you would like her name FM and I will tell you. The other helpers seemed to be really nice and more calm than her.
She didn't listen to what I had to say. She told me I had to try on every style to see what is best which I agree but when I told her what I really liked after she said then you are wasting your time trying these other ones on. Well I TOLD YOU what I liked and you weren't bringing those dresses out. She just was so unpleasent and really rude. And when she was ready for me when I got there she stood on the other side of the room and called me and said Gina are you ready. Um Biotch you should come to me and introduce yourself instead of me coming to you. She looked annoyed that I didn't come to her right away. Well if I knew she wanted me as soon as she was standing there I would have come but she told me she would be with me soon. Please FM if you were thinking of going I will give you her name and you won't have to deal with her. Sorry so long I am so annoyed and as I was writing this I got even more annoyed again.

Wow, sorry you had such a bad experience there. Try Carmela's Bridal Garden in Huntington, she's very sweet and has a beautiful selection.

That was my next one I wanted to go too. I have to make an appointment. Lillettes didn't have a big selection. Thank you so much. I am def. going to check them out now.

I showed her a picture of a Maggie Sottero dress with pick ups. I also told her that I like a lot of her dresses also. I love her style. Then I told her I don't want too much going on with the dress or too much on it but I don't want it really plain also. She kept bringing me dresses where there was too much going on and zero dresses with pick ups. I was like I would really like to try a dress on with pick ups since that is what I really like. She kept bringing everything I told her I didn't like and other designers.

I had something similar happen to me too.

Ridiculous. I wanted to try on mermaid styles....and the lady wouldn't bring them over to me.

I don't doubt that these women (or men) who work in bridal stores know what looks great on each body type...but at least let me make that decision on my own.

I did too that is why I went. The others girls seemed really nice. The one I had wasn't too pleasent. You should still go and check it out just don't get Lydia..lol You might have a better experience. Everyone does have a bad day but when you are a sales person you should control yourself and not be so rude.
