dress shopping - who went and how often?

ok i went for my first appt last night and i had so much fun i really want to go again every day until i find the one!!
so please help me out.
how often did you go?
did your mom and/or BM's go everytime?
how often is too often or how far apart is too far?
do you bring the same people every time or switch off?

I went to one place and not only found my dress but I also found my BM's and FG's dresses, the best part is that everything is in one place.

I went twice once with my mom and once with my mom and MOH.

I went 3 times. The first 2 times I was with my mom and MOH. The 3rd time I went by myself and found my dress. I guess the 3rd time is a charm!

I went to 5 different stores and wound up going back to the 2nd store I visited to buy my dress...Dress shopping was fun. Enjoy!

I went once. Tried on 4 gowns, and that was it. I chose the first gown I tried on! Done

I'm a little crazy and went to 7 different places all with my mom and finally found the dress at the last store. I also went with my mom for the bridesmaid dresses although I emailed with the girls on what they liked and didnt like. It was too much to get them all together to go and look. I was also nervous that there would be too many opposing opinions.

I went probably 10-15 times, and I think 8 or 9 shops of all different caliber (small private, large popular, discount, expensive). I just had a lot of fun with it, and with the long enagement I didn't feel a rush to find my dress right away so there was no stress. I went 2 or 3 times alone, a few times with my mom, a few times with my mom and friends, mom and sister-in-law, just friends ... Don't rush to find a dress, and just have fun with it. Sometimes I would tell them exactly what I wanted to try on, other times I'd ask them just to bring stuff they thought would look good ...

I went to 4 different stores, on different days, and then we went back the 'one' and ordered my dress.

We went 2 weekend right after each other and then a few weeks later went to Charleston....and we were done! i wouldnt go every day-day after day-it wears on you after awhile

I went twice- first time with my friends just for fun and second time with my mom, FMIL, and Kamille (and actually bought my dress then!!!)

I saw the dress online, went to the store, tried it on, I looked hot, bought it!
