Dress shopping with my MOH

My sister and I are going dress shopping today! I think we're going to go to Lynbrook Briday, Bridal Reflections in Massapequa, and maybe Lilettes in Baldwin. We're checking out BM's dresses first, then I want to try on a few...

Another May bride here!!! I think I am going to wait until May of this year to start looking though, I change my mind a lot and want to see the new styles that will come out. Plus I'd like to drop a few pounds!!!

SO I went shopping with my sister today... Poor girl had to try on two dozen dresses today. We found a few potential winners. (She liked Bill Levkoff, style 318 the best. It looked great on her, but I have one very broad, very busty bridesmaid, and I'm a little worried about the spagetti straps. So we'll see).

We went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa first. The saleswoman that worked with us was very friendly and helpful. I tried to go into the bridal salon, but you need an appointment. (The place was empty; it was a Monday at 2:00! Oh, well...).

So then we go to Lilettes in Baldwin. We origionally were going to look at BM's gowns first, but naturally I stare to stare at the racks of bridal gowns. They ask me why I'm getting married, and I actually give them the correct date. BAD IDEA! The saleswoman didn't wwant to help me, because 'it's too early.' Another salewoman had to see how disappointed I was, b/c she literally ran over to help me.

TRY ON A LOT OF GOWNS! I had seen every dress I tried on online, and they looked totally different on me. I'm going to go back with my mother to pick out my dress in a few months, but I wanted to get an better idea of what I liked... and did I ever!
