I liked a lot of the dresses I tried on too. I made my decision on style, material, how it looked when I looked down at it on me, how the bustling might look and also price was a factor as well. When I tried the one I actually ordered for a second time. I also sat down in it, which isnt necessarily the first thing you picture yourself doing in it and I also loved the way it felt all around me. And walking in it, I felt like Julia Roberts in the Runaway Bride where she liked the sound the dress made. Try not to stress yourself. It sounds like you are certainly not grabbing something on a whim. Your gut feeling on a dress, meaning the one you really think you want, is how the dress 'reveals' itself to you. It's not always a big dramatic 'THIS IS IT!!' because there are so many beautiful ones out there. I bet the one you have in mind is THE dress. It also sinks in after you order it. (you know, kind of like 'Wow! This is MY Wedding dress!') I have seen my dress a few times since I ordered it and I love it more each time. Enjoy the excitement!
Just an FYI: You are both getting letters from my company about employment. Nothing current. This happens, but don't be discouraged. I actually received phone calls on both of your resumes. They are definitely staying active. I received this same letter and I'm here. Just an FYI. Hang on there. Sometimes you can get a call in 1 week, sometimes 3

Veil stress!
I think with a veil the first thing to decide is if you want to wear it (the veil part) all day or not. The headpieces that are circular shaped where the veiling is on the bottom are usually the ones where you wear it all day. If it is one where the veil covers your hair, where the veiling is attached to the headpiece with velcro, you can take it off withour disturbing your hairstyle. Obviously, you also want to think about how you want to wear your hair. I also wanted the 1/2 up 1/2 down look but it may not work with the headpiece I chose. I ended up loving a headpiece with the veiling underneath and since the veil will stay on all day, I think it will affect how the long hair looks hanging down my back (I don't know if I am describing this clearly) so I may just go with an updo. By deciding mainly on if I wanted to take the veil off or leave it on helped me narrow it down immensely
Lorraine, I had to laugh over your 'don't look at a picture' comment. I definitely agree with you. Everytime I look at the picture of my dress, I hate it! It doesn't even look like the same dress! And I hate the way the model in the picture is wearing her hair!

Veil stress!
Tell him you will cut it the day after the wedding! Also, check out the brides magazines at the hairstyles...I know that until I found a dress, all I focused on were the dresses in the mags, then the headpieces, take some time to check out the 'do's' because I have seen A LOT of short hair pics, it can look very elegant too.
I feel the same way. I only have time to do things on the weekends and it is driving me crazy.
