Dress stress

So today was my third fitting. I am so upset. First I wanted my dress more fitted which from the beginning they said they would do. The seamstress said I ruined the dress because its not suppose to be that way. *** . Then she did half a french bustle not like she originally showed me and I want it taken in more at the hips. Of course she doesnt want to do more work, why should she it only cost me $720 for Bustle and alteration. Then they said just come pick it up before your wedding, I said I don't feel comfortable I want another fitting, they looked at me like I was crazy, Isn't your dress suppose to be perfect and exactly how you want it at your last fitting or am I being difficult? I just pray its perfect at my next fitting next week because I will ask for another one till its perfect. What if she cant make it like I want it, what if I hate it

just keep making appointments until it is correct... who cares what the lady says... you are paying good money and it is your WEDDING DRESS... it should be perfect!

Sorry for your stress Irene. Yes, you are paying alot of $$ for your dress. It should be the way you want. Maybe you should call the mgr/owner. They said you ruined the dress Give me a break! BTW, I'm sure you look gorgeous.

sounds like they have no problem charging you for the work but aren't willing to do it. i went through a similar situation this weeknd at my fitting. i refused to take it off till they got it right. so i'm coming back the weds. before the wedding to pick it AND try it on and hopefully take it home. don't settle irene for the $$ ur giving them it needs to be PERFECT!

did you get your dress at the same place i got mine? Sounds like my dress issues.

Your dress should be what YOU want it to be...not what she wants it to be. Go in and tell them that you paid them for alterations-if they had done it the way you wanted from the beginning there would be no issue

im so sorry for all this stress! i would keep going until they make it perfect, you are not overreacting or being difficult at all. Its their job to fix the dress the way you tell them to fix it so they better get it right!!!!

Thanks girls, If I have to be a ***** I will. I just want it done the way I want it no matter how many times I need to keep coming back. I just don't trust that it will be exactly like I want it. I will keep you girls updated next week and I will try to remember to bring my camera.

Keep going back until you are happy.....they will get it right. Just be demanding.
The same thing happened to me, and all turned out well. Just insist that they keep fixing it until you are satisfied. You're spending a lot of money on this, its the most important garment you will ever buy, and it needs to be perfect.

don't let them convince you to 'just pick up before wedding!!!!!' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I regret not having another fitting before pick up...There was like 2 1/2 weeks between my last fitting and pick up and I lost weight...the dress was falling and I had to use safety pins that ended up showing....MAKE AS MANY APPOINTMENTS AS YOU WANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
