Dress Update!

I now LOVE it! I was doubting it a couple of weeks ago, and then Macy's had sent it out when I went to do my 'confirmation re-try'. NOW.... LOVE it! (and the sample zipped up much easier this time, so that darn elliptical must be doing something! . I did the hollow to hem, so the dress is on its way to being made! PLUS... Doreen at the Smith Haven Macy's found me the PERFECT veil and tiara!!! AND, she put my hair up in such a way that was SO PERFECT that I took pictures to show my hairstylist! AND, I actually bought my wedding day jewelry at Swarovski! I want to get married TOMORROW! . I actually had my family there... 2 year old nephew (who was BEAMING looking at me in my dress... I think his expression is why I love it so much!), parents, brother and sis-in-law, and maid-of-honor. EVERYONE agreed it's THE ONE! Finally!!!!!!

So, in one day...
confirmed the dress!
did hollow to hem!
found the veil!
found the tiara!
bought my wedding day jewelry (necklace and earrings)
AND decided on the hairstyle!

necklace (picture does not do it justice! I didn't like it until I put it on)... and the matching earrings, which aren't on the website

I was there at about 1:30 with about 20 people. lol. kidding... more like 6 (plus a stroller). Thank you so much! Were you trying dresses on, too? Do you have blonde hair?

It was you. I was there about 1:30. I saw all the people. No. I have brown hair. I stopped in to see my tiara but it wasn't there. FI - I Just found out you can borrow them for hair trials. that's probably why mine wasn't there.

yes... I didn't know this until Saturday, either! That will definitely come in handy! . And I learned the hard way to call to check to see if anything you need is in. I went two weeks ago (had an appointment and everything) to go re-try the dress, and they had sent it to a Macy's in Jersey! I was so mad because I had done a hair trial to go back to try it on, but they made up for it this past Saturday by getting it back in for me. I'm definitely going to borrow my tiara to get my hair trial done in a few weeks.

VERY pretty dress... love the detailing on it!! you really got a lot accomplished in such a short amount of time, congrats!!
did anyone else notice (or am i the only weirdo) that the model's hands look very manly?? idk why but they look so odd to me LOL maybe it's been a very long Monday, who knows!!

Thank you very much. I wish I had the model's body to go with it! lol. I'd have to live the next 9 months on the elliptical! lol But it's amazing how BEAUTIFUL you feel wearing your wedding dress! I wish I could bottle that feeling! I didn't want to take it off in the store!
