Why can't I commit to a dress!!!!!!

When I'm in the store I love it, when I get home I have a nervous breakdown about what I don't like!
I can't take it anymore

i'm in the same boat. i tend to agree with my mom's taste, but i feel your stress about committing. i almost cried watching say Yes to the Dress last night.

but heads up! we'll find it!

who gives a shyt if she doesnt like it. my mom loved everything i tried on..and i was like ehhhh..too boring

shes old fashioned

i went alone 1 day, tried on a dress *the dress* for shyts n giggles.. and i ended up loving it.

i took her a few days later to buy it and she didnt say much. but saw how happy i was in it, how my face glowed so she smiled...

it wasnt til 3 weeks ago she told me she doesnt like my dress..

tough shyt.

basically.. go alone.

also, i don't know what your personality is like, but i'm critical and not gushy over things like dresses. i've accepted the fact that i won't find THE ONE, but i know i'll find a beautiful dress i love.

don't let it stress you that some girls found THE ONE! you found the one you want to marry so that's good news

i dont like going clothes shopping with any1..even fh.. so looking back.. i was INSANE for bringing mom dukes. the 1 person whos opinion i value the most but the 1 person who has completellllly diff taste than i do.

I picked the dress I loved and my mom hated it.....the day of I put it on and she loved it....

Pick what you want cause otherwise you will be unhappy....better an unhappy mom than an unhappy bride

My mom and I put a deposit on a dress that she LOVED and I LIKED. I felt that I looked like a bell because it was 'A' line but I think I'm too little for that style.

Anyway, we went somewhere else and I found a dress I loved and she didn't. I tried on about 10 dresses at that store and I told the sales lady to let me try the one I liked on again. My mom finally came around because she saw how it fit my body better than an 'A' line.

Even if my mom wasn't thrilled with the dress I liked, I was going to get it because I LOVED it!!!

I agree, go alone and go with a dress you like. i understand you want your mom to be happy with your decision, but you dont want to pick a dress that she likes (but you dont love) and then regret it later on :) Its your day
