Re: dress woes
It depends really. If he said he hated something key about the dress like 'I hate french bustles' and your dress has one, then I would try to alter it to eliminate that one element. But if it were more broad like 'i hate strapless dresses', i would just ignore it. Most men really don't know much about what looks good and what doesn't. Im sure he will love it on you.

Re: dress woes
My friend's husband announced (a few weeks before the wedding, of course) that he hated brides in strapless dresses, and guess what my friend had chosen?? Yep, a beautiful strapless. On their wedding day, he was so moved by how stunning she looked that he cried. Guess strapless wasn't so bad afterall??

Re: dress woes
Don't worry about it. Men usually don't know what they're talking about when it comes to style and fashion. If you love it I'm sure when he sees you in it he will love the way it looks on you.

Re: dress woes
My hubby said something similar too before we got married. He hates me in anything that does not have sleeves. I got a strpless dress, probably something he didn't like. But the minute I walked down the aisle, the smile on his face told me something different. Men are weird. I wouldn't worry about it. Go with it and I am sure he'll love it.

Re: dress woes
if he is like most men, by today he doesn't even remember what he said about what he likes or doesn't like two days ago!! I really wouldn't worry about it - on that day you are both going to have stars in your eyes and he probably won't even realize that your dress has a feature he doesn't like!

Re: dress woes
I agree with what the other girls said. He may have seen something in a picture or on another bride that he didn't like but when he sees you he will ove it. He probably wont even remember what he said.
