ok ladies who bought their dress and have it at home and want to look at it everyday. Help it is so tempting to open the bag and try it on. Am i the only one with that problem??
i know i am not supposed to open it because of dust but i heard something about wraping it in a cotton sheet?? I don't know i just want to put it on. It reminds me of the friends episode and the girls are in wedding dresses in the apartment.

your dress is beautiful!
My dress is at my parents house, that is why I do not even look at it!
I've had it home for a year though, and had to air it out every 3 months or so.
I read that you have to air it out, and if its kept in plastic it can start to turn yellow.

I had my dress at my inlaws for 10 months, i had it wrapped in a cotton sheet, in the garment bag with the zipper open 1/4 of the way for air to get in. It was upstairs away from kitchen cooking, and smoke. It was as white the day of the wedding as it was the day i bought it...good luck. Oh i got my dress at Davids too. Enjoy your planning

I got my dress from DB too. I asked them about the cloth sheet and airing it out. They told me that the garment bag it came in is made to protect from odors and discoloration and to keep it closed.
As far as trying it on everyday, I would if I had it in my house. I would be so tempted. So I kept it at my BM house. My mom has a cat and I did not need any mishaps with claws in my organza!!

I undertand. I had mine on like 12 times in the first two days. I finally brought it to my Grandma's and locked it in her closet.
