Re: Dresses
As some of you know, I purchased a Simone Carvalli, mermaid/trumpet dress from Bridal Reflections. ****SIGH**** I love that dress. Its in my photo album. I tried on different types of mermaid/trumpets gowns from simone Carvalli, but this one took the cake. And you forget me eating cake b/c in that dress I can't afford to.

Re: Dresses
Hey ladies I have a brand new Maggie Sottero Capri Leigh dress that has never been used from a previous engagement with no alterations done to it. I also have a cathedral length pickup veil that matches it. I paid over 1200 dollars for everything but I am willing to sell it for around 500 for both. If anyone is interested email me at [email protected]!

Re: Dresses
i looked alot on line and although i was drawn to certain styles i tried not to get hooked on them until i tried them on. the ball gown style didnt look good on me...so i had to rule that out. i also think its a good idea to go to a store that has many different designers and just pick out the dresses that look nice to you, dont mind the designer. you'll be surprised what ends up looking great. Pick up the dresses that look bad on the hangar as well because they look so different on. i did go to the store knowing the neckline i wanted and th eback that i preferred although i was open to suggestion

Re: Dresses
I looked online through so many dresses that they all became a blur..I knew I didn't want something puffy that would make me look like a marshmallow..when I shopped for a dress I tried on a zillion dress and when I found 'the one' I just had this relazed feeling.

I have no particular designer in mind. I just want something simple, elegant, and a sweep train. O.. and it has to be in Ivory

Re: Dresses
Although I didn't order it yet. I chose my dress it's a Maggie Sotterro ball gown I am in love with it!! I went with a picture and it was the first one I tried on. I was open minded and tried others but nothing else compared.. not to sound corny but I had that feelingeveryone talks about 'when its your dress you know it' feeling.

i know that i LOVE sweetheart necklines, corset style w/the ties in the back, and i really dont like strapless, i like the little side sleeves that go kinda off the shoulder but its like sheer material, know what i mean???
and i want it to be more than A-line as far as big on the bottom, but not toooooo princess big pouff
ive seen some really pretty Maggie Sottero ones that fit my style
something like this, but im open to try on different styles, i might be surprised once they are on me!!
me and you should go dress shopping together that exactly what I want!!
hahah too funny!!! yeah its like thats just what i've ALWAYS loved...and from what ive read it is exactly the styles that will complement my body type, so that works!!!
im so afraid though that ive had this whole picture and idea in my head of exactly what i want and then when i try it on im gonna hate it!!!!!!!!!! i REALLLYYYYY dont want that to happen!!! LOL

Hey Cous,
Uh ohhh... I picked out a Maggie Sottero gown online, too... lol. I fell in love with it over the summer!! Aren't her dresses fantastic??? I got that same kind of feeling, but I haven't tried it on yet. Since our weddings are only going to be two months apart, I definitely want to make sure we didn't choose the same gown lol... I'm gonna FM you about this 'dilemma' hahah. love you
