i think you should start looking at least 10 months before

some designers can take up to 9 mths to come in so i would start sooner than that just in case.

mine takes 9 months to get in. I bought mine back in march. def shop early if you can.

Ordered mine almost exactly a year in advance. I was told it will take 9 months to come in.

i would at least start to look.. i ordered mine in February and its still not in yet... I actually called and they said its 'still in production' sounds kinda fancy lol

i got my dress too!! I ordered in mid may and they told me it would take around 8 months before it comes in

I am also October 2010 and I thought I would start looking after the Christmas holidays. Everyone is telling to start looking sooner. I am not sure what to do, I have'nt even booked my reception yet.

my wedding is in june 2010, and i got my dress last month. i thought i was being early, but they told me it take 9 months for it to come in!

i actually just ordered mine today. i was going to wait a little bit but i found out that the dress i loved was being discontinued. therefore, i had to order it asap.
