Now I don't know what to do. I went to RK Bridal today. They didn't have the Watters dress I wanted to try on, the one I thought might be The Dress. (I had called a few weeks ago, but the girl might have misunderstood and thought I was asking if I could order it, not try it on.) Anyway, I tried on a few dresses. I was thinking that I wanted a romantic lace dress with a flowing sash. Originally, I was thinking 'garden wedding,' and that seemed most appropriate. And I love that look. Then, I realized that a garden wedding wasn't feasible, and we ended up booking Timber Point, which is a CC/ballroom (although not too formal, which is fine with me!) But I was still thinking lace dress, it only occured to me the other day that I could branch out as far as dresses were concerned, so I brought a few more ideas with me today. I tried on this dress, #1, which I had liked on their website, more as a 'let's see' sort of thing than being really serious. And I LOVED it. My mom loved it, she told me I looked like a princess. For the first time, I really felt like a bride. However, I also really loved this Allure Bridals dress I tried on, a long lace one along the lines I first wanted. Now I have to decide: crystals and satin, or lace and a sash? I saw another Casablanca dress I also really like, now that I'm looking. The other thing--the Casablanca dress is significantly cheaper than the Allure or the Watters dress I haven't tried on yet. As in, $300 cheaper, and considering we're watching every penny, that's a big deal... I never even looked at Allure dresses before because their ads and their website are so horrible, I just happened to see that dress on the hanger while waiting my turn! BTW, my mom loved the Allure dress too. She's no help. ;)
