FW decided she doesn't want to spend more than 500 bucks on her wedding dress ('i'm only going to wear it once, what's the point?!). I'm cool with that, as I'm pretty cool with whatever she decides. So here's the question (two parter)
1) Is this possible for a wedding that's now just over seven months away? and
2) if so, where can she find such a dress? She's living in Manhattan, and right now, I'm in the 914, so li, westchester, as well as the boroughs are all possibilities. FMIL is coming to town to dress shop, so i figured I'd try to find them some good places to go.

no, she is not crazy. it can be done. my dress was $600, w/o alterations, slip and veil. she should check out burtons. if she tells them what her budget is, they will help her.
