Dresses without a corset?

do you think they are as flattering as dresses WITH a corset? when i try them on i keep thinking i defintiely want a corset because it s u c k s me in so much more but is that just because its easier to make the corsetts fit? but there are some dresses without the corset that i love but im afraid it wont be AS flattering. do you think when any dress is in your size and altered it should suck you in well, or will the corsett always be more slenderizing?

Can;t you jjust wear a corset or long line underneath?

My gown isn't a corset either and I love it It just has the zip up the back.......I originally wanted one with buttons, but then fell in love with this dress, and with all the detail in the back, I didn't feel I needed the buttons. I tried on some corset gowns too, but wasn't a big fan of them on me.

thanks girlies, i am glad to see you all agree that you dont NEED a corset, i think you are right, when it is in your size it will hold you in better, the corset samples just seem to look better because they fit no matter what size it is. and if i end up choosing one with a zipper and feel like i need a seperate corset bra ill just get that! yay let me go add some more dresses to my list!
