The boys are going to get their tuxes next week but I don't know how it works.
Does the vendor just help them out ? It seems that you can pick variations of a tux and for the most part, both the groom and the groomsmen wear the same kind- the groom can just do a different color bow, tie, or vest.
Can anyone point me to/ give me more info ?

I felt a little clueless going into that also. We went to Men's Wharehouse and they were very helpful. We looked through a catalog and picked out a style we liked. They asked what color bridesmaid dresses we had, and then showed us the vests that would go best. We picked one that matched the bm dresses perfectly for the guys (even though i didn't have a swatch) and then did ivory for DH to match my dress. It was definitely stress free, but I would say go just FH and you to pick them out and then send the rest of the guys in a later day so that it's not too hectic. HTH

I agree that only you and your FI should go on your own to pick out what you want and then have the other guys go afteward to get measured and order.
