FH and I like to party and have a good time - I plan to have a couple of drinks at my wedding but not enough to be a nasty sloppy bride.....from what I hear I won't have time to drink.......are you going to drink at your wedding?????? I love my Corona's!!

I love my cocktails, but I will only have 2 max at the reception. The afterparty is another story.

No. I won't be drinking. I don't need a drink to relax or to enjoy myself, and I'd rather have a clear head and be able to remember and enjoy every second of the wedding... even if you don't plan on getting drunk, after that kind of crazy long day, and not eating much (which happens to a lot of brides, from what I hear) there's a good chance you'll end up drunker than you plan...
I'll probably toast with champagne, maybe have a glass of wine with dinner, but other than that I'll be sticking to Shirley Temples and ginger ale all night. Tastes better anyway

i want to enjoy a few drinks - but I made my fiance promise that neither he or I will get sloshed on our wedding day!!

We did, but not much. Funny thing is first thing I said to my BA...good morning...can I have a glass of wine. It totally helped calm my nerves and be ready for pictures all morning. The photographer got a couple of good shots too. Then...after the ceremony...you have to have a champagne toast with your new hubby! After that...we tried, but there just wasn't time. Oh we had to try our signature drink - Caramel Apple Martini. YUM! We only had a few sips of that. Then we asked for champagne...they brought over a bottle for us...we didn't even get a second to take a sip! You're all over the place - dancing, greeting guests. It's crazy! We're both 'need a few drinks before getting onto the dance floor' kind of people, but for some reason, when it's your wedding...you just dance and dance and dance!
