I can't find Invites I like. They are either to plan or too ornate or too expensive!!! ARGH....How long did it take you ladies to pink your invites?

i feel your pain. we have been looking... and looking... and looking. of course, the ones that i love are ridiculously expensive. how many places have you gone to?

FOREVER!!!! I was finally going to make them when I found them on invitations by dawn website. I only wanted simple ones with a lighthouse on top that didn't cost a fortune. They had a lot- I would check them out.

I went throught the same thing. It's very frustrating!! I think I am going to go with pocketfolds from mygatsby.com and I'll just have to put them together myself (they do the printing, but I'll have to matte a few papers together). It's time consuming, but it'll save me $800. Try the websites...you may be able to get some of the invites you've liked but that were too expensive at a discount. Good luck!

I'm still looking. I found a calligrapher I LOVE but she'll only do the envelopes if you buy invitations made by her or you order them through her (the only choices are Encore or Carlson Craft). At this point, I'm ready to throw in the towel and pay $9 an invitation set to have them hand-done by her.
I still haven't gone to Kate's Paperie though. Anyone know which location has wedding invites or do all of them?
