drop outs...

we did our final count on sunday and have had 7 people cancel since then!!!

one couple it is an emergency so i just hope that works out!

stinks when people cancel so close to the wedding!!!!

Yeah, I had a few of those too. It really does stink, but better to know ahead of time, then have them just not show up! Their loss!

why do people do that

We have had some drop outs as well.... but my favorite are the people calling saying that they can come now

i have a couple of those too!! as of right no we have 4 ppl who have dropped out. it really does stink.. my final count is supposed to go in tom.. so i'm just waiting it out now to see if anyone else isn't coming!!

I'm sorry to hear this! I had one girl's husband cancel on me 3 weeks before and then send me a text the morning of my wedding asking if it were ok if he came, since his work issue was resolved. I was like ***? A text the morning of my wedding?!

I never responded and he didn't end up showing up, thank god.

but what are peoples reasons? i dont know why someone would rsvp yes and then right before change their mind....i can see something coming up for 1 couple or 1 person but when its multiple people cancelling at the last minute it seems shady to me - there cant be that many people who had emergencies come up

if anyone does this to me, im going to be piiiiiiiised

UGH!!! what a pain in the booty!
I am sorry! I had to be one of those cancel last minute people to a friend and I felt awful. It was an emergancy, which is diffrent than changing your mind!

people are rude & act like they are canceling from a bbq or back yard party- I dont know I tried not to get too mad & wished diarrhea on all of them

i can totally see something coming up for 1 person out of 150 or 200 people - but to have like 10 people cancel - thats BS....

exactly.. people act like they are just not coming by for dinner that night!!! and i hate it since most of these people have been married or planned weddings for their children..etc.. and know exactly how much time and effort goes into it!!!!!!!!!!!!
