Drop waisted Gowns

Does anybody know if after sitting for a while in a drop waisted fitted gown, if you will get that ever-so-attractive line across your middle? Does it depend on the fabric? Or the size of your belly?

Re: Drop waisted Gowns

I think (not sure) it would depend on the construction of the gown. I know the bodice of my gown (not a drop waist) is many layers thick with beading, etc.. - there isn't a gut large enough to put a dent in it. But if you have just a satin bodice with not much behind it, then I would say probably yes.
