dry cleaning wedding dress
What is the average cost to dry clean a very simple wedding dress? Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Re: dry cleaning wedding dress
It depends on the materials and the cleaner you go to. I am having my dress professionally cleaned by Madame Paulette's and it was $275. FM me if you have any questions.

I had mine cleaned and stored there and it was $400! And they're doing my alterations. But you're also paying for the name/location...

you should check out the newlywed board - they were just talking about this. A few girls used Wedclean and they seemed to like their service. I know nothing about cost though...

Re: dry cleaning wedding dress
I believe it starts around $200, and that's kind of low from what I hear.

They are also storing my dress and doing alterations for about $25 more than the total you are paying eroxgirl. It may be alot, but I feel confident that they are going to be going over my dress with a q-tip cleaning every little bit of the dress. Since I took my dress there, I've talked to a few brides who got their dress cleaned at Madame Paulette's and have been very happy with the results. Take into mind that no matter where you go the price is going to vary in regards to the material that the dress is made of; if there is beading and other details. In addition, I probably will do some more investigation into places to take my dress to after I get married to get it cleaned. Actually, I'm thinking I may donate it.
I did search around and asked people and asked on this board as well about cleaners and Madame Paulette's was the response I most frequently got.
