Very good question.
I don't think you can dry calla lillies well. After my wedding I hung my bouquet of calla lillies upside down from the same hook that my dress was hanging from... went away to my honeymoon (3 weeks later) and found my dress stained from the sap of the calla lillies and bugs were all over the place; similiar to fruit flies.

try calling a florist - there has to be a successful way of drying them. Good luck

Re: drying calla lillies
Very few flowers can be dried. Unfortunately callas aren't one of them. But at Michaels they have a freeze drying powder that you can put ontop of the flowers and put in the microwave. My mother in law does it alot. Her biggest recommendation is to cut the stems very short. Good luck........
