Duet

Hi ladies!

I met with Eric on Saturday and I am so impressed with Duet. The only thing was I had a hard time understanding Eric because he had such a strong accent. Do many of the photographers have strong accents also? I was just getting a little frustrated, but he was so nice though.

My friend is paying $4000 for her package and she is having Alberto- and he included free enagagement pics for her. Is this reasonable to ask for? I was asking Eric about something like this and he was saying it was almost impossible to get Alberto and I wasn't really getting a lot of straight answers. How many of you got free engagement pics?

np...my sister went with patken and they gave her free epics ...i was under the impression that most companies did..but guess not..i really want them...

Yeah so was I. Eric didnt say anything about it and stupid me I fogot to ask. He was ready to get the contract though and went over what was included and didnt say anything about it.

No we wanted to go and leave the deposit tomorrow after work. I just figured I would ask if I was missing anything or if I should ask for anything else now before we sign

My sister used Jay and I'm using him and he was very easy to understand. Much more clear than Eric.

If you want something ask for it. I booked Duet for photo and video and there were a ton of extras I wanted and needed and he threw them in and no charge, including the engagement photos. I know he is hard to understand so make sure he writes everything out. I also just repeated everything back to him so I knew we were on the same page.

Could you tell me what extras you asked for? I am still so unsure what to ask for or to expect!

Well FH's parents are divorced so I needed an extra parent album and an extra 8x10 and my ceremony starts at 1pm and my party ends at 12:30 so I needed them for 14 hours instead of 10 like the contract says. I had him add another DVD and the engagement shoot with the sign board framed. I think that may have been it but he gave me an amazing price so I didn't complain.

I am using Duet as well and I got the e-pics and I think the sign board included in my package (especially since I asked). I am also getting 2 photogs and video. I asked about getting the video for the full 10 hrs and it was only $100 extra for the 4 hrs (instead of only 6 hrs). So you should definitely negotiate.

yes i am etting the 2 photograhers.. 1 traditional 1 photojourn. ajnd a videographer. Eric can be a bit hard to understand.. but he wrote everything out and we loved thepackage.. and the work is just UNBELIEVEABLE~
