Duet brides, question...

I have heard after signing with them it is like IMPOSSIBLE to get anything else out of them right?

Here's why, with my church issues I had to change the time of the ceremony from 5:30 to 5:00 so I need an extra 1/2 hour photog time. I was wondering if you think they will just throw it in, or I should expect to pay?

Also anyone know how much that extra half hour is?

I don't know how much it costs, but I do know that they are notorious for not throwing anything in once the contract is signed. I know 2 previous brides who warned me about that, and I kinda went through it as well.

Tell them you want them to come half an hour earlier and they can leave half an hour earlier...honestly, after a certain point in the wedding you wont need them anymore anyway.

ok so i'm going to rewrite this because it didn't go through before.......

I booked with them on Saturday 7/18 and on Sunday night i realized that the baby pics and honeymoon photos for our video that Eric talked about during our first consultation were not listed on our contract. I emailed them right away and Monday Peter (who has been awesome so far) said they were not listed on my contract so they could be included for a small fee...

I was really upset at first and called FH but he pointed out all the stuff Eric DID INCLUDE for us. He said that if I really wanted them and If i was really upset I should try and speak to Eric himself.

I really wanted to but I didn't want to start complaining already when I had heard such good things about Duet. I haven't written them back yet. I figure that if we don't use some of the upgrades Eric threw in for our album( such as metallic pages) I can ask for the pics to be thrown on the video instead. Eric did say that if we did not use some of what he offered, we can change it. I will see what happens, please keep me posted on your dealings with Duet.

ita because i don't think they will just give it to you - i know this is totally different but they wouldn't give me e pics after signing

I needed an extra 30 minutes - 1hr too and they wouldn't throw it in - I didnt try to negotiate it too much though - I was quoted a discount for the extra fee though.

I just looked at my contract and it's not there either....I'm so upset....I guess I'll just see what happens...Can you FM what the small fee was? Plus if you hear anything about the pictures, can you please let me know. Thanks!

Edited: Ok so I looked at their website and then I looked on my contract and it says photo montage...and on their website the photo montage includes baby pics/honeymoon pics etc. I'm going to call tomorrow to clarify plus I think they messed up on the locations because they only have the ceremony and reception hall locations but not my house or FH's house which they should...and it's included in the hours...ohhh the joy of wedding planning....

I just looked at the contract and it says $80 for a half hour and $150 per hour per staff member.
