Duet Casual Day

We met Jay from Duet in Central Park today and it was brutal! He was AMAZING, but the weather was so hot and humid that we were sweating like never before!! It was so uncomfortable and unattractive that we actually had quit half way through...

I'm so sad, but he promises we still looked great...we have to wait 2 weeks. I'm excited that we booked them for our wedding b/c he was great to work with even with the unbearable weather.

yes, the weather sucked-but I am sure he told you the truth, you probably looked great! Key to good pics: being relaxed. What humidity does to me: makes me puddle-like. I'd call that relaxed.

I am doing my casual day in NYC as well-where did you go in the park?

I hope you're right!!! I thought it was fun regardless, but FH was miserable. I wish we postponed it.

Actually I thought it would be about an hour, but they really do a lot. We met him at the West 72nd St entrance and he takes you all over the park (advice wear comfy clothes and comfy shoes - can you say blisters!!)

He said they usually spend about an 1 1/2 - 2 hours in the park and then go to a second location (soho or seaport for example) - so I'd call ahead and get an idea of what to expect or think about a second location you'd like to take pictures at.

I think aside from the heat, it was a wonderful experience and they really give you time and work with what you want and make you feel so comfortable. I'm so happy to be working with them.
