Hi. I am going to see Duet tonight and have heard mostly wonderful things except there is some type of language barrier. I dont want this to influence me negatively if their work is really great but I do want to feel fully confident when I book and I hope I can feel like that if I feel I cant communicate fully. Once getting pass the initial appointment, language wise, can anyone advise of the fluency of english of the photographers? Thanks.
When I first met with Eric, the language barrier was there but I could still fully understand everything. Sam was my actual photographer and he spoke English perfectly, so there was no issue with understanding eachother. I don't think you have anything to worry about!! Their work is outstanding, so I wouldn't let a heavy accent hinder your decision to work with them. HTH!

I didn't meet with Eric i met with another guy in their Manhattan office and he spoke English perfectly.
We met with Eric-there was a bit of a language barrier but not anything that I wouldnt not book them over since I loved there work. We are using Danny from Duet has anyone used him before?
I met with Eric at my initial booking appt. There was a little bit of a language barrier but I was still able to understand him. I've met with Dany and Jay betweek our e-pics and my friends wedding and their english is alot better. I wouldnt worry about it all. Good luck at the appt
i met with Eric and he spoke perfectly fine and i don't think that should matter anyway! they are very professional and it shows in their work
Eric is great and I don't think there is a problem with any of the photogs.....mine was not a problem...
I was also a little nervous about meeting with him, but he is super nice and willing to throw in so many extras. We didn't have a communication barrier issue; I understood him perfectly.
I met with them twice and didnt notice any language barrier. They seem to communicate so well and they're such nice guys too.
its not really a 'language barrier'. its just an accent. u should be fine.
I don't feel there was a barrier either. A strong accent so FH had a little trouble understanding some things he said but I understood him fine!
