So I've narrowed it down to 2 photographers. One being Duet. I know a lot of you are using them and I looking for some comments on what it was/is like working with them. Their photo's are great. If anyone has had any kind of experience with them, good or bad, it would be helpful. I just need to know what I'm getting myself into if I go with them. They are half the price of the other photographer, so maybe the quality is different??? HELP!

we had Duet - TJ's team - and they were incredible. I have some pro teasers in my album. I cannot say enough good things. And as far as the quality goes, I'm not sure what you mean by that, but Duet has an excellent reputation and I find their work to be incomparable.

We're booked with Duet (Jay) and I can't believe that we were able to get everything we wanted and still stay well under budget for photog. I have yet to hear a bad review.

While driving to the appointment, I was rattling off exactly what I was looking for to my mom and what price I was hoping to pay. She looked at me and said 'Ha, good luck!' Boy was she wrong!! I got everything and then some!

we picked duet too.. Jay's team. I think they really know what they are doing and I havent really seen a bad/horrible complain about htem.
Yes, it may seems like a wedding photo factory, but what matters is that the day of your wedding you will have someone that really knows weddings... We are happy with our choice...

We booked with TJ for our wedding. So far so good. The only thing to be aware of is that once you sign the contract they aren't willing to negotiate or add/remove things, so make sure you get everything in writting before signing that contract.

We are booked with TJ's team. Eric (the owner) is great to work with. And you can def negotiate. Esp if you pay in cash!

My sister used Jay's team, and her pictures came out really nice. But she didn't recommend them to me because for her, she didn't like their frantic style of taking pictures day of, and she had problems with how much she had to edit herself on the computer after...but she's not very computer savvy so for me that wouldn't have been a big deal. I didn't look at them though based on her feedback. I probably should have given them at least a chance, because her pics did come out great, but she spooked me with the other stuff.

i know what you're saying....I met with them too and I love their work, all the girls rave about them, I've heard sooooooo many amazing reviews, their prices are great...I feel like what's the catch? Am I missing something???

We are using Alberto and he was great for our epics. (I have them in my album. We know people who have used them and had no complaints at all. I can't wait to see how our wedding pics come out

We are working with Jay's team. E-pics are in my album. Jay was so great to work with, the day we met for our e-pics he had gone to the location earlier in the day and prepped out spots he thought would be great in pictures. He hadn't been to that location before and I was very surprised he was sooo prepared.
He did all the shots we wanted. He was very friendly and personable.

We had Jay from Duet- I have a TON of pro pics AND VIDEO in my review and just posted video clips a few min ago on this board.
They were PERFECT and we LOVE our photos and video... tons of samples on my review

I donr think there is any catch they are just very popular and maybe thats part of my their prices are lower? I dont think I have heard one bad thing about them so far.

We met with Duet...they were one of our top choices. Their pictures and prices were great and definitely fit within our budget. The only reason why we didn't go with them was because we were told that we do not meet our photographer until after we sign the contract. You can browse their albums and all, but that's it.
I think it's pretty important to talk with the person who you are interested in choosing...you'll be with that person your entire day!

Hi! I know a few people that used them and all were VERY happy. They were my second choice. I just loved Imagine so much that I went with them. Duet does excellent work. I still think you should meet with Imagine ; )

I've heard nothing but good reviews on Duet! I've seen a couple of their Ephotos and Wday photos on this site and I'm totally in love. My FH and I are definetly going with them. We haven't booked as of yet but hopefully. Within the next couple of wks we'll be able too!! Good Luck with your search and hopefully your able to decide on DUET!
