Anyone have the price quotes for Duet Photography?

Well i've searched around and the cheapest was Patken photography for what i wanted which was both photography and video with one photog...and videog... i'm still searching around cuz that sounds tooo good to be true. Duet quoted me at 4000 for 2 photog and one videog with one bride and grum album. Imagine studios quoted me at 5,800. I really love imagine, patkin and Duet. My friend referred me to her photographer for her wedding and i was quoted 3,000 but i have yet to see the work and it includes everything including e picture omg!!! FM and i'' ll let you know and give you their website.

How much did Patken quote you? I'm looking for a photography and videography package too, and am pretty close to booking Imagine. My friend has also recommended Duet. How do you feel the three compare? Duet seems quite a bit cheaper than Imagine, it seems, and they are a 'TheKnot pick' too. Hmmm...

we're using Duet.. I think they quoted a little over $5000- but did get some extra's.. I think we went with the silver package? We went to see Patkin, but they didnt offer as much and were almost the same price..

DUET quoted me $5k for one of their biggest packages.. 2 photog.. 1 video.. bride and groom album parents albums...extra pics.. e pics.. large blown up e pic to sign... 500 proof album...... over 1500 proofs to own on a DVD.... and their work is OUTSTANDING
I booked DUET for $3999 +Tax for 2 photog/1 video 10hr day plus albums and all phoo prints and cds and all that good stuff...lol

Duet offered me alot and was my second choice but, I went with Thomas Paul. I love his work and personality!!!

ours was 4700 for the best package imo.... 2 photogs, 1 videog for 10.5 hours... albums, a cd with ALL pictures taken, plus a small album of the best 500 prints among a few other things... oh and I asked him to throw in engagement pics. with tax it came to just over 5,000. Loved their work!!
it may be cheaper depending on the time of year and there were less expensive packages but I wanted my two photogs

I'm actually going with Celestrial Photography / Videography.... He's amazing. Actually reminds me of my father. He's verrrry personal, and works with you for EVERYTHING that you want. I will be doing my engagement photos with you soon, so I'll post them as soon as I can. We're paying about 4,200 for everything! That's unlimited 2 photographers and 1 videographer, 2 parents books, each person in the bridal party gets to choose one photo they want persoanlly as an 10x12, free special effects and b&w and antique....there's more, but we booked with him a while back... I'll have to look over it again. Definatly worth it! Plus, we're doing photo favors...all the guests will have their picture taken during the cocktail hour and will recieve them by the end of the night. :) He does amazing work... but he doesn't have too much posted online. Oh, and the video made my FH tear up... Now THAT must be good... (he tries to be the manly man...if he knew I wrote that he'd be mmmaaad. LOL)

Oh, and one other good thing about Celestrial is you don't pay until AFTER you recieve certian things... like lets say 1000 before the wedding, but then you pay NOTHING until you recieve the proofs, then you make another small payment whe you recieve the CD...etc etc. Since he does all the work himself you don't have to worry about paying so much money without seeing the final product. I HIGHLY recomend him...

I am using Park Ave. Studios - love their work and have had numerous recommendations incl. my best friend's wedding in 2004. It's $4990 for : *'titanium' package - 11x14 acrylic cover digital album *70 photos in Bride&Groom album *24 photos in (2) parent albums *150 Thank yous *11x14 portrait *5x7 for all in bridal party Engagement shoot incl. $995 extra for photojournalist (2nd photographer who will shoot about 1,000 black and white photos) Otherwise, without PJ it's 3995 - no videog.
