Duet Questions

I am considering Duet for photography. A lot of LIW brides seem to be using them.

What did they include for what price?

Were engagement pictures included?

they have all different packages... the epics were $200 extra - and well worth it!

It seems like sooooooooo many of you brides are using them.

i have no idea how to pick a photographer. all of the portfolios look beautiful. can't differentiate. then again i dont have an artistic eye. i'm a finance person.

Duet is willing to include engagement photos in their package at no additonal cost - just ask.

They are popular because of the price - very inexpensive in comparison to what others are charging.

I think the photo/video package is $3800 which includes two photographers for the day and a videographer with the edited video, albums (parent copies too) and proofs.

Our photo/video (two separate vendors) will end up being double that price or more with albums.

I agree that most look alike. But I think with Duet you get alot for your money. The price is very reasonable.

I'm thinking $5k is the standard package?

You can find great photographers for as little as $1350

12th night without albums is under $2K and I think you could get two photographers (one for 10 hours and one for 4 - 6 hours.)

I think Duet does video only for about $1400 too.

It all depends on what you want.

You can also go to someone like Willi Wong http://www.williwongphotography.com or Michael Cody http://www.michaelcody.com/ for photo and pay $4,500 - $7K for one photographer with no albums.
