duet video prices for '09?

Hi ladies! Does anyone know what Duet charges for video services? The reason I'm asking is because when we first booked them we took the photo + video package. We later decided to use a different vendor for video since Duet can't do a lot of what we want (HD cameras, more than one videographer, etc.) and they were fine with that so they took it out of our contract. However, they only deducted $800 from the price quote for removing the 12 hour video services (which supposedly includes tax, too!) and I feel like they're ripping us off now! If anyone has a 2009 price quote for either photo alone or video alone please let me know so I can decide if they're now overcharging us for the photo portion, bc I have a feeling that's the case now.

They may have given you a discount for video since you got the photo/video package. So even if you get quotes for just the video it may not be the same as what they charged you. JMO.

Maybe you could call them and ask them to go over it with you. HTH.

I'm sure you're right different people's quotes might be different than a package - I'm just trying to get a ballpark estimate as to what photo alone would be because when he said he was removing $800 that seemed odd to me so I questioned it once already and he wouldn't really explain it or confirm the prices. He just said that's what they were doing. Then I called again because I realized they calculated tax on the whole original price package and then deducted $800 from the bottom, so I wanted to let him know that he forgot to deduct tax for the video and he said the $800 included tax, which is hard to believe seeing as that would mean the video was something like $736.48 which is absurd.

Oh, isn't wedding planning fun?!?!
