I met with both and it seems that Duet would be cheaper once all things are considered, such as albums, thank you's and other things. I'm not too sure though who to pick yet...it is such a hard decision.
Nicole kind of blew me off too! I told her the price my friend got through them and that I wanted less things and asked for a price and she finally replied that I'd have to make an appointment.

With their special promo package I think it was like $3700 but if you wanted to upgrade things like an engagement shoot it's $200 on LI and $300 in the city and you can upgrade the albums. Also they have a different package for $4100 or so which includes a music video and a little more extensive dvd with photos of honeymoon and baby pictures
For the $4,000 my friend is getting the $3,700 package with 2 mini albums, extra thank you cards...a few other things. She said Eric kept throwing more into their package. I like that they have 2 photographers, so someone can be at our apartment when FH is getting ready and one at my parents where I will be. I'll have to make an appointment.
yes, both of the photographers have 2 cameras... also from my understanding one takes more traditional pictures and one takes candids...

I too am biased. I am using 12th night. Then again, I did not check out Duet at all. I basically made up my mind about 12th night after I met them the first time.

Me too...I think Duet is located in Suffolk? I didn't want to drive that far- we hit several studios in Nassau, loved 12th Night, and that was that!

How negotiable is 12th night? Their prices seem pretty good... just curious as to an idea on what people are paying. I saw their packages on their website already. Does 12th night do video too? Any idea on what that runs?
from my understanding dominic might give you a better price if you pay with cash (that is at least what he suggested when we were there)
