That's a tough decision. But I think it really depends on what you are looking for in a photographer. What are your deciding factors between the both of them?

I too am biased. I am using 12th night. Then again, I did not check out Duet at all. I basically made up my mind about 12th night after I met them the first time.

I met a few other photogs, but not Duet, sorry.

I'm with everyone else. I didnt' meet with Duet, but I went with 12th Night. Dominic is great. We just clicked. He sold me on the cheaper package (how honest is that?) and seemed to have teh same vision as we did. He has such a great personality and makes you feel so comfortable.

I am going to meet with 12th night next week do you know if they can put a package together for more than 10 hours?

These are the only 2 photographers I am even meeting up with. We haven't booked yet, but just met with them both this weekend! FM me if you have any specific questions I can help with.

I'd say just met with both and go with whoever fits your style and personalities best, I mean your going to be spending at least 8 hours with this people on your day, you might as well like them! we are going with 12th night, we just clicked with them and loved their work

I also met with both and decided on 12th Night. I did like duet but 12th Night was going to be cheaper for me and I like the fact that we get all the images and negatives. We can do all the enlargements ourselves and we will save a bunch of money. Also didn't need parent albums and after the wedding we are going to get a digital album through 12th Night. Duet was an extra $600 for a digital album. Didn't like the fact that you have to pay everything before the wedding day to Duet. I think they changed that now though. At the time 100% was due on the wedding day. I did like the Duet Video but I liked Mittermax video better. It was more artisitc and more was included such as multiple VHS tapes and 3 DVD's and all the raw footage. I thought Eric and his wife were very nice and would have been happy to use them but met with Dominic and knew I found my photographer. So let me know if you have any additional questions.

I emailed Duet about a custom package and a price. Me and Nicole exchanged a few emails... but she wouldn't give me a final quote on a package when I compared them to a glenmar package I got. She just totally ignored my emails after that. That turned me off bigtime.

I called 12th night and spoke to Dominick. He seems like a nice guy and I am going to try to set something up to go in and look at their work next week.

How negotiable is 12th night? Their prices seem pretty good... just curious as to an idea on what people are paying. I saw their packages on their website already. Does 12th night do video too? Any idea on what that runs?

we are getting one photographer for 5 hours and one for 10 hours, with all proofs and negatives for $2200, we are going to do a digital album thru them after the wedding...they don't do video but they have Mittermax which they recommend, he can give you a sample DVD...he is a really nice guy and there work is good, Good Luck!
