What's the difference between a single tier and double tier veil??

A single tier has one layer, a double tier has 2 layers.

I was on some website looking for veils and the option I was at said 1 tier or 2 tier...I'm guessing the 2 tiers have more layers????? I thought looking at veils would be simple

Yes, the double teir does have more layers... I would suggest getting the double teired if you want to have the veil down in your face as you walk down the aisle. That's what I'm doing.
