Dumb Placecard Question

I know JT's give us the tent cards...I'm just not sure what todo after we get them.

Do we hand-write them, print on them, send them to a calligrapher??

Also, now I'm starting to think I might want a placecard holder or a placecard with a silver bell. Not sure if it's worth it though. what do you guys think. Below are pics of the ones I like that are bells:

My hall gave us the placecards, too. I don't have the handwriting to write on them myself, so I went out and bought white mailing labels and I am gonna print the names and table #s on those and stick them to the cards.

I think you can probably use a holder like the one you showed us. If the cards are rectangular shaped, just keep in mind they are going to stick out a lot from either end of the holder.

I have gotten the placecards with the bell in them when I attended a wedding before. They are flimsy, and the bell doesn't ring. In my opinion it was a waste of money, because I wound up just throwing it out. If you do the bells by themselves, people could use the holder for something else, like a pic or something. JMO....HTH....
